Granada and Livermore pushed the score to 18-4 the last time they played Livermore, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Matadors fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 1-0. The Matadors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Granada got a good showing from Mason Ravera, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest earned runs Ravera has allowed since back in April.

On the hitting side, Granada saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Richards, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Granada's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Livermore, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11.

As of now, neither Granada nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
