Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Star). Their defense stepped up to hand the Greater Johnstown Trojans an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. Baylee Sleek was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Something new happened on Thursday as Peyton Smeak saw her first action of the season, playing 60 minutes against Greater Johnstown. Smeak made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
