Basketball Recap: IDEA Sports Park Drops Highest Score of Season Against IDEA Frontier College Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask IDEA Sports Park). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat IDEA Frontier College Prep 75-46. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Stingrays with their most commanding win of the season.

Several IDEA Frontier College Prep players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mario Quezada, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 19 points. That was a full 41.3% of IDEA Frontier College Prep's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Josiah Carrizales was another key player, putting up 13 points.

IDEA Sports Park's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

IDEA Sports Park will welcome Progreso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. IDEA Frontier College Prep and IDEA Robindale will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. IDEA Frontier College Prep is facing IDEA Robindale at the right time seeing as IDEA Robindale is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
