Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs 57-10. The Bluejays were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-5.

Litzy Ramirez was Perry's leading scorer, having posted three points.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Nevada the next time they take the court. Prairie City-Monroe will head out to face Nevada at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Perry will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
