Volleyball Recap: Mt. Madonna Victorious

Mt. Madonna won the last time they faced Priory and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Panthers 2-1.

Corwyn Harris paced Mt. Madonna's offense, picking up seven kills. Harris got some help from Minami Wu and her 12 assists. Wu was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mt. Madonna's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Priory, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mt. Madonna will head out to square off against Aptos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mariners will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Priory, they will take on King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
