Softball Recap: Spokane's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Spokane never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Blue Eye on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Owls as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Spokane got a massive performance out of Macie Gimlim, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Gimlim also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Addie Gimlim, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

Spokane was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blue Eye only posted a batting average of .333.

Spokane's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Blue Eye, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Spokane has already played their next matchup (against Exeter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Blue Eye also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Purdy.
