The Catholic Central Crusaders will take on the Cameron Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Catholic Central will be strutting in after a win while Cameron will be coming in after a loss.
Catholic Central will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Wellsville on Wednesday. The Crusaders blew past the Tigers 14-3. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Catholic Central got a massive performance out of Tommy Symington, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Symington a new career-high. Michael Fabbro was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.
Catholic Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wellsville struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Cameron's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bridgeport. The Dragons were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Bulldogs' pitchers proved too tough.
Cameron also got a good showing from Ike Yoho, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Cameron saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Soier Reed, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Reed is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Cameron's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 16-4. As for Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Catholic Central came up short against Cameron in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, falling 12-7. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
