Soccer Game Preview: McFarland vs. Edgerton + Official Tickets

The McFarland Spartans will square off against the Edgerton Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

McFarland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Mount Horeb get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. McFarland might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Mount Horeb with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Griffin Martin, Wyatt Pagels, Braydon Fischer, and Callan Wagner.

Meanwhile, Edgerton came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Hillmen as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Edgerton's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

McFarland's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Edgerton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-3.

McFarland took their win against Edgerton in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Crimson Tide have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
