                                                         The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to  challenge the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Vidalia Heritage Academy is leaving town to face Citizens Christian Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Vidalia Heritage Academy lost  19-0 to Robert Toombs Christian Academy on Monday. The  defeat leaves the Eagles without a win on the season.
 Meanwhile, Citizens Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road two weeks ago, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Echols County 17-7.
  Peighton Harper made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Harper was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news, Citizens Christian Academy let  Emma Gourley and  Cadence Cravey loose on the outfield. Gourley  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI, and a  triple, while  Cravey  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-6.  Brilynn Waldron was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her six plate appearances.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Citizens Christian Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .389. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in August of 2023.
 Vidalia Heritage Academy might still be hurting after the  14-0 loss they got from Citizens Christian Academy  when the teams last played  back in September of 2019. Can Vidalia Heritage Academy avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
