Baseball Recap: West Broward Bobcats vs. Hewitt-Trussville Huskies
If West Broward was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Poly Prep Country Day on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. West Broward fell just short of the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
Noel Perez was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.
