Soccer Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Takes a Loss

Fountain-Fort Carson lost against Pine Creek back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans lost 6-1 to the Eagles. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Fountain-Fort Carson were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Suami Mbaya, who's now up to eight this season.

Fountain-Fort Carson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-2 record this season. As for Pine Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fountain-Fort Carson is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pine Creek will take on rival Rampart at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
