Baseball Recap: Camp Hill Has No Trouble Against Middletown

Camp Hill was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Middletown on Saturday. The Lions blew past the Blue Raiders 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Shamash, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Camp Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Camp Hill will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
