Football Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Burlington-Edison Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered against the Tigers since September 23, 2016.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Burlington-Edison, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakewood will take on rival Marysville-Pilchuck at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Burlington-Edison is set to face off against their familiar foe Bellingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
