Softball Recap: Corbin Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Corbin's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Redhounds' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Corbin has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Harrison County, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.

Coming up, Corbin will head out on the road to challenge Harlan County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrison County, they will host Campbell County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Camels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Thorobreds/Fillies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
