Basketball Recap: County Line Continues Road Dominance on Friday

County Line waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They snuck past the Clarksville Panthers with a 44-39 win. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Panthers are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

County Line's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Clarksville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

County Line is facing Sacred Heart at the right time seeing as Sacred Heart is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clarksville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beebe at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
