Volleyball Game Preview: West Springfield Terriers vs. Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles

The West Springfield Terriers will head out on the road to square off against the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Wednesday, West Springfield didn't have quite enough to beat Central and fell 3-2.

West Springfield wouldn't go down easily and took Central into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 20-25, 25-12, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Easthampton/Hampshire earned a 3-1 victory over Pope Francis Prep on Friday.

Easthampton/Hampshire's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for West Springfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

West Springfield skirted past Easthampton/Hampshire 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terriers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
