Taft had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cleveland on Wednesday. The Toreadors put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Toreadors: when they faced off against the Cavaliers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

While Taft won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15, 25-18.

Taft is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season. As for Cleveland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-14 record this season.
