Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Beloit

It's playoff time, and Beloit had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Lakin Broncs 60-38 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beloit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Wright, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 11 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Wright a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Addison Budke, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Beloit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Beloit's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Lakin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

As of now, neither Beloit nor Lakin have any future games scheduled.
