Jefferson extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Robert Saulny-Green. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Homestead Mustangs with a sharp 38-12 win on Friday with plenty of help from Saulny-Green, who rushed for 84 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, and also threw for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Homestead, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will take on Cupertino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Homestead, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Saratoga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
