Volleyball Game Preview: Forest Hills Yellow Jackets vs. West Stanly Colts + How To Watch

Forest Hills hasn't had much luck against West Stanly recently, but that could start to change on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Forest Hills didn't have quite enough to beat Mount Pleasant and fell 3-2.

Forest Hills wouldn't go down easily and took Mount Pleasant into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 20-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-27, 25-10, 25-5.

Meanwhile, West Stanly came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Stanly was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-6, 25-10.

West Stanly's win came from a few key players Forest Hills will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Georgia Moffitt, who had six digs and three aces.

West Stanly was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Forest Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for West Stanly, their record is now 17-3.

Forest Hills suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to West Stanly in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
