Watauga is a perfect 3-0 against Forbush since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Watauga Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Forbush Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Watauga's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Monday, Watauga came up short against Asheville and fell 3-1. One reason for the loss might be the Pioneers' aggressive play style: Savannah Rogers and Hannah Graham were both handed yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Forbush's offense. They came up short against North Davidson on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Black Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Watauga's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Forbush, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Watauga's way against Forbush when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Watauga made off with a 9-0 win. Does Watauga have another victory up their sleeve, or will Forbush turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
