Soccer Recap: Lincoln vs. Springfield
Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Springfield Senators. While losing is never fun, the Railsplitters can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Senators are ranked 59th).

Springfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
