Basketball Recap: Collin Abston's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rockwood over Midway

Rockwood lost against Midway back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockwood Tigers fell 55-45 to the Midway Green Wave.

Rockwood lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Collin Abston, who posted eight points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Laken Jolly, who had 12 points and eight boards.

Rockwood dropped their record down to 7-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Midway, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Rockwood will take on Greenback at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
