Bishop McGuinness extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Adelaide Jernigan. The Bishop McGuinness Villains took down the Queen's Grant Stallions 74-56 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Jernigan, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 33 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The game was her 28th in a row with at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Sullivan, who dropped a triple-double with ten points, 12 boards, and 11 assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Several Stallions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Za'Miya Bynum, who went 11-for-21 en route to 27 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 48.2% of Queen's Grant's points, marking the ninth time in a row Bynum has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Misa Garris, who scored 18 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Bishop McGuinness pushed their record up to 26-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points on average over those games. As for Queen's Grant, they moved to 22-5 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Coming up, Bishop McGuinness will take on Mountain Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Heritage will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Bishop McGuinness surely won't give up without a fight. Queen's Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
