            Basketball Recap: Roselle Rams vs. East Side Red Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            If Roselle was riding high  fresh off their  57-37 takedown of Roselle Park last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roselle Rams took  a  44-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Side Red Raiders.

 When it comes to explaining why Roselle lost on Sunday, don't look at  Zaire Hopson. Despite the final result, he  posted 15  points in addition to five  assists and three  steals. Hopson is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's  played.  Jodarsen Pierre was another key player,  putting up nine points.
Roselle's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for East Side, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
 Roselle will be playing in front of their home fans against Dayton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Roselle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9  points per game  this season. As for East Side,  it'll be Eastside v. Westside when they and West Side meet  at 7:00  p.m.  on February 4th.
