Softball Recap: Pleasant Hill Takes a Loss

Pleasant Hill lost against Elmira on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Billies lost 22-7 to the Falcons. The Billies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pleasant Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Elmira, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Hill will challenge North Douglas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elmira, they will square off against La Pine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.23 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
