Isle of Wight Academy is  a perfect 7-0 against Hampton Roads Academy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will take on the Navigators at 6:00  p.m. Hampton Roads Academy took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Isle of Wight Academy, who comes in off a win.
While Isle of Wight Academy's  win against The Covenant wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  victory over the Eagles  on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Chargers have posted  since March 31st.
  Jason Chapman was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Wyatt King, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
Christchurch School hit Hampton Roads Academy with a six-run fifth inning  on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Navigators came up short against  the Seahorses, falling  13-7.
 George Kokolis put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Graham Hutchens made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-5 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Aiden Parks also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Isle of Wight Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Hampton Roads Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record  this season.
 Isle of Wight Academy took their  win against Hampton Roads Academy  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  8-1 score. Do  the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Navigators turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
