Volleyball Recap: London Frazier Key Part of Team Effort in Wildcats Win

Westminster Christian had won three straight home games and Rachel Buchanan did her part to make it four on Tuesday. Everything went the Wildcats' way against the Principia Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Buchanan, who had 14 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Westminster Christian took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-9.

Westminster Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Frazier, who had five kills and one block. The dominant performance also gave Frazier a new career-high in assists (three).

Westminster Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive contests.

Westminster Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-5-1. As for Principia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5-3.

Westminster Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pattonville on the 2nd. Principia has also already played their next match (against Gateway Science Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
