Recap: Beekmantown Eagles vs. AuSable Valley Patriots
There's no place like home for the Beekmantown Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged AuSable Valley out 51-49. For Beekmantown, this counts as revenge for the 53-41 loss AuSable Valley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Payton Parliament, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played. Sophie Miller was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Beekmantown's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for AuSable Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beekmantown will take on Saranac Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for AuSable Valley, they will be playing at home against Plattsburgh at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
