Valders has won four straight games at home, while Brillion has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Lions at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Valders 3.6, Brillion 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Valders' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Sheboygan Falls 10-0. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Megan Hochkammer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Valders got a big performance out of Arianna Hernandez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Makenna Kaderabek was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Valders hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sheboygan Falls struck out 13 times.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Brillion sidestepped Southern Door for a 4-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.
Jocelyn Tamm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jana O'Connell, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Valders has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Brillion, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Valders hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Brillion struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Valders couldn't quite get it done against Brillion in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 7-2. Will the Vikings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
