Baseball Recap: Western Alamance Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Western Alamance was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Southwest Guilford Cowboys by a score of 3-2. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cowboys from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Western Alamance has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. The victory (which was Southwest Guilford's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Alamance will face off against Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Alamance is facing Williams at the right time seeing as Williams is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Southwest Guilford, they will be playing at home against Southeast Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
