New Holstein has gone 9-1 against Two Rivers recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Huskies will venture away from home to take on the Purple Raiders at 4:30 p.m. New Holstein is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
New Holstein had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Roncalli on Wednesday. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Jets. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won seven games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Riley Danes was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Wagner, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Brillion typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Two Rivers proved too difficult a challenge. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions a 5-0 shutout. The game was the first time the Purple Raiders have beaten the Lions on their field since May 2, 2022.
The result came thanks to Anna Klein's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Two Rivers let Lucy Leist and Rylee Timm run wild. Leist got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one double, while Timm went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Two Rivers is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for New Holstein, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
Two Rivers' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: New Holstein hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for Two Rivers, though, as they've only averaged .188. Will they be able to contain New Holstein's hitters?
