After losing to Little Elm the last time they met, Marcus decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Marcus Marauders walked away with a 58-51 victory over the Little Elm Lobos on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Marauders.

When it comes to explaining why Little Elm lost, don't look at Kensington Candler. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 18 en route to 29 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joseph Brickley, who posted nine points and three steals.

Marcus has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Little Elm, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.

Marcus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-63 defeat against Coppell on the 11th. As for Little Elm, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-50 win against Lewisville on the 11th.
