Stonington and Fitch are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Bears will venture away from home to square off against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Stonington will be strutting in after a win while Fitch will be coming in after a loss.

The Bears never let Lyman Memorial get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Sean Durham and Cam Ogden made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Durham tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Ogden pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Durham scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Ogden went 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Schrage, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Fitch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 8-4 to Stonington.
