Volleyball Recap: Justin-Siena Comes Up Short

After flying high against Casa Grande last Tuesday, Justin-Siena came back down to earth. The Braves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Petaluma Trojans on Tuesday. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

While Justin-Siena ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19.

Justin-Siena has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. As for Petaluma, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-5.

Looking ahead, Justin-Siena will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Vintage at 6:00 p.m. Petaluma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
