Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Titans vs. Green Bobcats

The Notre Dame Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Green Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Notre Dame took their game with ease, bagging a 70-43 win over St. Joseph Central. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Green had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 63-59 W against the Tigers.

Notre Dame has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Green, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Notre Dame took their win against Green in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 58-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Notre Dame since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
