            Volleyball Recap: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Boulder Creek suffered their biggest  defeat since October 8th on Thursday. They lost  3-0 to the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  3-0  defeat  on October 8th.
 Boulder Creek was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mountain Ridge work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-22,  25-19.
Boulder Creek's offense was headlined by  Lila Burkhart and  Laci Noice, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from  Layla Bruhn and her 15 assists.  Lucy Salihar controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Boulder Creek has  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-20 record  this season. As for Mountain Ridge, their victory  ended  a  four-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 12-13.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Boulder Creek is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Liberty  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge will  square off against  rival Pinnacle  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
