Baseball Recap: South Panola Tigers vs. Cleveland Central Wolves
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lafayette, South Panola was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Cleveland Central Wolves by a score of 8-4. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.
Dalton McGee looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Anson Bright was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two).
South Panola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cleveland Central only posted an OBP of .375.
