Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 51-19 loss at the hands of the Carthage Tigers. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Carthage, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Central will host Joplin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carthage, they will head out to square off against Glendale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
