Volleyball Recap: Virgin Valley Gets the Win

While Virgin Valley's win against Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Virgin Valley narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Valley 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 25, 2024.

Virgin Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Valley into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-27, 22-25, 15-12.

Destry Tobler paced Virgin Valley's offense, picking up 21 kills. Tobler got some help from Dallin Moeai and his 49 assists.

Virgin Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. As for Valley, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Virgin Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Founders Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Valley will face off against rival Cristo Rey St. Viator at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
