St. Thomas More came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pontiac Indians on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sabers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

Pontiac's loss came despite strong showings from Morgan Dewald and Araceli Serna. Dewald had 21 assists and six digs, while Serna had 11 digs. Dewald is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Pontiac, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-6 record.
