Basketball Game Preview: Smith County Owls vs. Lebanon Blue Devils

The Smith County Owls will challenge the Lebanon Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Smith County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for Smith County against York Institute as the team secured a 60-25 victory. Given the Owls' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Dragons are ranked 299th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lebanon came up short against Beech on Saturday and fell 60-50.

Smith County has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
