Verrado had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Flowing Wells Caballeros.

Alexander Marrero paced Verrado's offense, picking up seven kills. Marrero got some help from Zachary Doerksen and his 19 assists. Finally, Jaylen Tolliver kept Verrado's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Verrado's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Flowing Wells, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Verrado has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against The Gregory School on the 28th. As for Flowing Wells, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mountain View on the 28th.
