Basketball Game Preview: Springdale Prep Lions vs. Berman Hebrew Academy Cougars

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springdale Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matchups -- so hopefully Berman Hebrew Academy likes a good challenge.

Two weeks ago, Springdale Prep was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to Prince George's Christian Academy Blue.

Meanwhile, Berman Hebrew Academy waltzed into their contest on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 61-50 victory over the Wildebeests.

Springdale Prep's loss dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Berman Hebrew Academy, their win bumped their record up to 31-5.

Springdale Prep strolled past Berman Hebrew Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 71-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springdale Prep since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
