Alleghany barely beat Floyd County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Buffaloes on Monday. Mason Hale was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Alleghany now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Floyd County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-2 record this season.
