Football Game Preview: Waterloo East Trojans vs. Washington Warriors

The Waterloo East Trojans will square off against the Washington Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Waterloo East and four for Washington.

On Friday, Waterloo East took a blow against Waverly-Shell Rock, falling 56-7.

Meanwhile, Washington came up short against Mason City on Friday and fell 29-20.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Waterloo East, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Waterloo East took a serious blow against Washington when the teams last played back in October of 2017, falling 69-20. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
