It was a good run, but Vintage unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to the Casa Grande Gauchos. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Crushers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Vintage saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abygail Sims, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Vintage's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Casa Grande, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Vintage will venture away from home to face off against American Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Casa Grande, they will be taking part in a tournament against College Park at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
