After a string of eight wins, Inchelium's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 69-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northport Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-55 back in December of 2024.

Inchelium's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Northport, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inchelium has already played their next game (against Cusick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northport won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Selkirk at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northport knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Selkirk likes a good challenge.
