Basketball Recap: Algona Comes Up Short

Algona won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They lost 75-54 to the Forest City Indians. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Algona fell to 2-1. As for Forest City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Algona won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Clear Lake at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Clear Lake's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Forest City, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against North Iowa at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. North Iowa has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
