Basketball Recap: Covington Falls Despite Big Games from Creux Rieman and Kaden Smith + How To Watch

Covington was the 62-38 winner over Schlarman when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 63-52 to the Hilltoppers on Tuesday.

Despite the defeat, Covington had strong showings from Kaden Smith, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 17 points along with six boards and three steals, and Creux Rieman, who went 7-for-16 en route to 22 points and five rebounds. Nash Martin was another key player, putting up five points.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Schlarman, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Covington will take on Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin in a tournament on Friday. As for Schlarman, they will welcome Paris at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
